The weather in Saint Lucia is always hot, with fantastic clear equatorial light to capture the moment on film.

Weddings at Mago Estate Hotel are unlike other larger resorts in Saint Lucia. For the whole of your day we only ever cater to one wedding couple, so the whole team is focused on you.

We help you to really plan your wedding to your exact requirements so the day goes just as you imagined it. We understand that you may be some 8hrs + flight away but by the time you reach Mago Estate Hotel you will feel you have known us for years.

Our wedding packages are designed to make it easy for you to choose what you want. Be it a wedding ceremony at Mago overlooking Petit Piton, a wedding with Toraille Waterfall as your backdrop or a location of your choosing.

Attention to every little detail is paramount to our wedding coordinator. She will make sure that you and your dress are perfectly captured by the photographer. Do you want the wedding bands taken to you in a traditional half coconut shell or placed in a basket of brightly coloured Creole cloth? Every little detail will be gone over and re-checked so you can relax and have the day you deserve.

TIME FRAME FOR CIVIL CEREMONY

The normal application processes would require the bride and groom to spend at least 2 days on the island prior to the wedding date. These days need to be week days. All information should be faxed to the hotel a few weeks prior to arrival. Mago normally requests that you arrive four days prior to the wedding day.

ROMANTIC LOCATIONS

We have a number of locations on site for your unique wedding. You may choose the Pool and Terrace, the secluded Carib Pool or the balcony of your room. Whichever you choose you always have a magnificent backdrop to the ceremony. If you prefer we can arrange a wedding at locations other than Mago Estate. You may choose from a beach wedding, waterfall wedding, rainforest wedding, botanical gardens and many more.

Start off your special day with a romantic champagne breakfast in bed, only birds watching you.
Late morning a little pampering with a full body massage of Fresh Mango and Oils. Or a full body scrub with Coconut and Lavender in our Spa.

The wedding ceremony takes place after 4 pm, when the light gets softer .A spectacular backdrop being the majestic Petit Piton in front of you The terrace surrounded by an ambiance of natural foliage and large bouquet of flowers, lavishly decorated, sets the scene for your special day.

Following the ceremony, the traditional toast of champagne with the cutting of the cake St. Lucian style. As the light fades enjoy a candlelight special dinner for two, under the tropical stars. With you, the music of the rain forest mixed with Caribbean sounds. Arriving back to your little paradise, you enjoy an attendance of tropical flowers and perfumed candles to finish off a very special day.

Birth Certificates
Deed poll certificate if name has changed
Parental Consent of below the age of 18
Death certificate and previous marriage certificate if you have been widowed
Decree absolute if divorced
Marriage licence required seven days before date of marriage
Must be on the island four days before marriage.
